HOUSTON (Monday, July 23, 2007) – TPC Group (TPC) today announced the Company’s first scholarship program designed to recognize graduates from Port Neches Groves High School for their hard work and academic achievement. 

Mr. Christopher Mahfouz and Mr. Nathan DeRon have been selected as this year’s recipients of a four-year, $8,000 scholarship for academic excellence sponsored by the Company.  The scholarship program is designed to recognize two graduating seniors from Port Neches Groves High School planning to pursue a degree in the engineering and sciences or liberal arts discipline.

The initiation of a Company scholarship program in Port Neches builds on a solid foundation of community involvement and support for those who seek to improve and promote educational advancement in the communities in which TPC operates.
